BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly assaulted a woman and stole two necklaces she was wearing.
On Jan. 14, the suspect allegedly approached the victim in the parking lot of a business in the 2900 block of Ming Avenue, according to police.
He then assaulted and forcibly took two gold chain necklaces from her, according to BPD.

Officials describe the man as being 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweater and black jeans during the incident.
