Re “A rise in eyes on ICE” (Feb. 15): I was heartened to see the front-page coverage of the community patrols that have formed in San Diego County to alert neighbors about ICE patrols. I am grateful to the Union-Tribune for both covering the story and for giving it such prominence. Thankfully, the paper has not turned into The Washington Post, whose owner, Jeff Bezos, is doing everything he can to profit off the Trump administration at the expense of informing the public about the price we are all paying as a result of the innumerable attacks on our democracy.
