PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Former TV star Zachery Ty Bryan has been sentenced to 16 months in prison following a DUI arrest in 2024.

The 44-year-old actor who played Brad Taylor on “Home Improvement” from 1991 to 1999 pleaded guilty in California to driving under the influence.
He admitted to having a blood alcohol content of 0.15%, nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08%, according to TMZ.
Bryan was arrested in Lane County in December after his fiancée tried to run him over.
Officials say he was impaired but was not hurt. He was arrested for parole violation connected to a previous assault case from 2023. There is a hearing on this case coming up in early March.
Back in California, the judge declined probation and sentenced him to 16 months in county jail. He was credited with 57 days served.
In July 2023, the actor was charged with fourth-degree felony assault, third-degree robbery and harassment, and was ordered to spend seven days in jail.
In October 2020, Bryan was arrested following a domestic violence dispute in Lane County on charges of fourth-degree assault and strangulation. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor menacing and misdemeanor assault.
