Congratulations to Warren Li, Luke Bustinza, and Sofia Mancero top elementary spellers in the Fresno County Spell-Off.
They were among 80 students, elementary and junior high, who competed.
It was nerve-racking to be up there on stage, no matter how much these students had prepared.
That’s an achievement.
Ultimately, Warren Li from Fugman Elementary in Clovis Unified is headed to Washington, D.C.
Li will represent Fresno County at the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
