California Highway Patrol officers confirmed to FOX40 that a man was trying to open doors and clinging onto vehicles while they were driving.

He was arrested at Watt and Marconi avenues around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, officers said. He also had two arrest warrants outside of the Sacramento area.

Multiple videos obtained by FOX40 show the incident. The first video begins with the driver, Daryl Guevarra, traveling south on Watt Avenue over Interstate 80, approaching Longview Drive. A man is seen hanging onto the passenger side of a white Mercedes.

“Are you cool?” Guevarra yells out of his window. “What’s going on??”

The next video cuts to Guevarra stopped at the Watt Avenue and Longview Drive intersection, with Guevarra pointing the camera into his driver’s side mirror — the man now visible on the side of a black SUV approaching the light.

“What is going on right now?” Guevarra says in the video.

The third video cuts to Guevarra trailing a black four-door vehicle. The touch screen in his vehicle appears to show 8:57 a.m.

“Dude!” Guevarra says. “This dude is jumping on people’s cars!”

The fourth video shows the man on top of the same black vehicle as moments prior; this time, the vehicle passes Guevarra. “This dude is tripping!” Guevarra says. “We are going 40 miles an hour!”

The video ends with Guevarra apparently getting out of his vehicle to confront the man – his phone camera goes black, ostensibly pointed down somewhere in his car’s interior.

“Hey,” Guevarra can be heard saying. “What are you doing, dude?”

The man was arrested and booked into jail on two charges, CHP said.
