Paul Ruiz of Buchanan won a dramatic 10-8 decision over Siraj Sidhu of Clovis North at the Central Section Masters at Selland Arena in Fresno, California on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026.

The semifinals of the CIF wrestling state championships are set and several wrestlers from the Fresno area have a chance to advance to become state champions.
The Bears have eight wrestlers in the championship round, while Clovis have five.
The defending state champions, the Buchanan boys sit atop the standings heading into the final day in Bakersfield on Saturday.
Buchanan has 166 points. Poway is second with 150.
On the girls side, Buchanan and Poway are battling neck-and-neck.
The Bears have four wrestlers in the championship, while Poway has two.
