Authorities investigating suspicious death in Fresno County

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what it is calling a suspicious death.

Deputies were called out around 7 am Thursday to Oak and Tahoe avenues in Caruthers. Someone called and said they found a man down.

Authorities tried saving the man, but he was declared dead at the scene.

Deputies are still investigating the man’s injuries and what led to his death.
