Northern California forecast: Cooler with a chance for Sierra showers
Temperatures will be slightly cooler Sunday, though still above normal, and there is a chance for wet weather in the higher terrain.

Partly to mostly cloudy are expected Sunday with cooler temperatures compared to yesterday, though still above normal for this time of year. There is another slight chance for showers and thunderstorms Sunday, but mainly north of Yuba City and in the Sierra, with maybe an isolated shower or two in the Foothills. Snow levels are around 8,000 ft and severe weather is not expected.There is another slight chance for Sierra and Foothills showers on Monday with snow levels around 7,000′.Tuesday looks dry.Another system may bring chances for rain and Sierra snow on Wednesday, but again the Valley will likely stay dry.Dry and mild conditions will round out the rest of the week.
