FRESNO, California — A 26-year-old Fresno man has been arrested on charges related to online child exploitation, according to the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Mario Angel Dominguez, of Fresno, faces felony charges for arranging to meet a minor for sex and sending harmful material to a minor. His bail was set at $45,000, and he has since posted bond and been released from custody, the task force reported.

Detectives served a search warrant on February 26 at a residence on the 2900 block of N. Mariposa Street in Fresno as part of the investigation. They discovered that Dominguez had been engaging in sexually explicit conversations and sharing inappropriate images with a female minor. He was also attempting to arrange an in-person meeting for sexual purposes, according to the task force.

Dominguez’s electronic devices were seized for analysis, and he was placed under arrest. The investigation remains active, and detectives believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.
