San Francisco protest against U.S. strikes in Iran draws large crowd

In San Francisco, about a thousand people marched down Market Street on Saturday in one of the biggest demonstrations against U.S. strikes in Iran. Demonstrators expressed concerns over foreign intervention and the loss of lives. An Iranian-American participant told NBC Bay Area she hasn’t been able to talk to her family in Iran due to internet blackouts. While she wanted to see freedom for the people there, she also said she believed foreign intervention was not the answer.Many protesters were disturbed by reports that more than 200 people have been killed in the strikes. More protests are expected to happen nationwide on Monday.
