Two people were hospitalized early Friday following a shooting in Del Rey, and an investigation is underway, as reported by City News Service.

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Pacific Division responded at 2:18 a.m. to the 4800 block of Marionwood and Braddock drives, near Northgate Gonzalez Market, regarding reports of a shooting, CNS reported.

The victims were sitting inside a vehicle when suspects approached them on foot and opened fire. The suspects fled the scene, and no arrests were immediately reported.

The victims, a 36-year-old man and a teenage boy, drove themselves to Cedars-Sinai Marina Hospital in Marina del Rey, where they were listed in stable condition, CNS reported.
