Stockdale Highway washed down after material found non-hazardous

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Fire crews sprayed down Stockdale Highway after no hazardous material was found from an item that fell off a truck.

The Bakersfield Fire Department said on Monday morning, after 8 a.m., there was a report of material that fell from a truck onto the roadway.

Hazmat team responded to the scene. The material was found to be non-hazardous, according to BFD.
