SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — The SkyStar Observation Wheel over at Fisherman’s Wharf is going to be glowing in red and gold on Friday and Saturday nights in honor of the Chinese New Year Parade.
The observation wheel is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., including during the Lunar New Year period.
It will offer 9-12 minute rides with views of the bay, making it a popular, scenic spot to celebrate the holiday.

The San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade, set for Saturday, March 7, is the largest Lunar New Year Celebration outside of Asia and ABC7 is the official broadcast partner.
The grand marshal for this year’s parade is none other than San Francisco native and Olympic freestyle skiing gold medalist Eileen Gu.
