The energy was positive as thousands assembled at the chain’s newest location in downtown Long Beach, which drew crowds from across SoCal.
The Marathon brand is the brainchild of the late Nipsey Hussle who was tragically killed on Mar. 31, 2019. His brother, Blacc Sam, and their close friends, carry the torch in his memory.
92.3 LA radio personality Big Boy and Compton rapper YG blessed the crowd with free burgers while they waited patiently to be served.
Here is a compilation of videos shared across social media of the event that was embraced by the community, and with the brand looking forward to opening its next location in the Times Square section of New York the Marathon continues!
