Later clips showed cops swoop and pin a man to the ground near a parking lot as victims were rushed to hospital.

The violence erupted at around 3.32pm near Third Street and Pine Avenue as crowds came out for the highly-anticipated launch of Marathon Burger, the fast food chain founded by Hussle’s estate.

Long Beach Police Department confirmed multiple people were injured and there was one fatality. The motive, circumstances of the shooting, and suspect information remain under investigation, officials said.

The Long Beach outpost was opened in partnership with the Broadus family — including rap legend Snoop Dogg — who came out for the opening.
