LOS ALAMITOS, CA — An Orange County DJ who performed at children’s parties was charged with raping a teenage girl while she was unconscious and possessing hundreds of images of child pornography, prosecutors said Monday.

Los Alamitos resident Glenn Canyon Childers, 32, was charged with one felony count of rape by use of drugs, one felony count of possession of child pornography, and seven misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance.

He faces a total sentence of eight years and eight months in state prison and one year in the Orange County Jail if convicted on all counts, prosecutors said.

The crime happened before Aug. 31, 2025, when Los Alamitos police received a report of an underage girl who had been given illicit drugs and then sexually assaulted, according to Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer.

Childers was arrested on Feb. 24, 2026, after Los Alamitos police arrested him at his home. He was later booked into Orange County Jail.

Since then, prosecutors said he has been released after posting $100,000 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned March 26.

“The trauma endured by victims of sexual assault is a sentence that they can never escape,” Spitzer said in a statement. “Crimes of sexual violence will never be tolerated and we as a society must send a strong message that no child is a sexual object.”
