Fresno police

A pedestrian was taken to the hospital Sunday after a vehicle hit him in Fresno.

Police said it happened at 7:53 p.m. at Clinton and Yale Avenues.

Officers arrived and spoke with the victim and the driver.

Police said the pedestrian is in the hospital with minor injuries. Police added that the driver remained on the scene and is cooperating.

Officers are investigating whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.

Police said it is unclear who is at fault.
