Firefighters are responding to a blaze at Alum Rock Park in San Jose.
The fire was reported at 2:29 p.m. Thursday.
The San Jose Fire Department said the park was evacuated by rangers and Cal Fire is providing air support.
Residents were asked to avoid the area.
