The March festivities will happen in New York and Century City
With the forthcoming arrival of spring, Bloomingdale’s is embracing a golden state of mind.
The department store giant is set to host a slew of special events from coast to coast as part of its Saturday Generation series.
Timed to the arrival of its spring California Love campaign, Saturdays at Bloomingdale’s goes big on March 7 at the New York City store on 59th Street where visitors will be treated to an in-store performance by members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, which will premiere a bespoke orchestral arrangement.

Shoppers will also get to enjoy a SunLife Organics Smoothie Bar serving three exclusive Bloomingdale’s smoothies (Monday–Saturday, 8 a.m.- 7 p.m. and Sunday, 8 a.m.– 6 p.m.); Goodles Mac & Cheese Surf Pop-Up with tastings every Thursday–Sunday from 1– 5 p.m. until May 15; Sau Lee Mandarin Lychee Martini Cart serving California-inspired cocktails; a Longchamp fresh juice cart; HOKA matcha cart; California floral mannequins and photo moments; express mini facials by Vitner’s Daughter; complimentary refreshing frozen pops in beach-inspired flavors to enjoy while shopping; and 35 other in-store activations throughout the campaign.
Then, the California Love edition of Saturdays at Bloomingdale’s touches down at Westfield Century City Mall on March 21 with the LA Phil. The orchestra’s grand homecoming will be accompanied by culinary and wellness experiences like Lisa Says Gah’s natural wine and peach and burrata bar, Oak Essentials Trike and Express massages and an Alfred coffee and matcha pop-up.
At select locations in both New York and California, shoppers can enjoy Mother poppy cart floral experiences, Maje macaron cart and Birkenstock x Staud aura readings.
