FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Fresno police arrested 19 drivers on suspicion of DUI on Saturday, as the department continues stepped-up enforcement aimed at keeping impaired drivers off the road.
Drivers charged with a first-time DUI face an average of $13,500 in fines and penalties, along with a suspended license.

The Fresno Police Department said it will hold another DUI enforcement operation this Saturday, and plans a series of DUI enforcement patrols and checkpoints throughout the year.
