Sanger gang-related shooting, stabbing suspect arrested in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A man has been arrested in Fresno in connection with a gang-related stabbing that happened last year in Sanger.

Officers responded to the report of gunshots on January 25th in the 200 block of Academy Avenue.

While officers were responding, another call came in about a stabbing.

A short time later, the stabbing victim was dropped off at the Sanger Fire Department.

The victim was transported to Community Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

Detectives working with the Multi-Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium conducted follow-up investigations and identified Jesus Antonio Aguilar as the suspect responsible for the stabbing.

Aguilar was taken into custody on Monday in Fresno.
