San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie will roll out a new campaign to prevent cuts to Muni.
The mayor is expected to announce a new measure on the November ballot.
The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency said service cuts are planned to take effect this June because of the city’s ongoing budget crisis, and it warns more cuts could come.
If approved, the measure would stop cuts to service, invest in safer, more affordable transit and reduce traffic congestion.
Lurie, alongside other city leaders, will ride the “J-Church” route to Dolores Park to push the campaign.
