Politicians, an actor-turned-politician, Olympians and more are part of the 19th Annual California Hall of Fame class announced Tuesday.
The 2026 class will join more than 170 previous members when they’re inducted March 19 in a ceremony hosted by Gov. Gavin Newsom and first partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom at the California Museum.
This class also shines a spotlight on Los Angeles.
“From the State Capitol to Los Angeles, from bestselling books to Olympic triumphs, the inductees of the 19th class of the California Hall of Fame have reshaped our culture and our communities,” Newsom said in a statement. “Resilient and innovative, these leaders and luminaries represent the best of the California spirit.”
