SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento police are investigating an early morning shooting that left one person hospitalized.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded just after 5:30 a.m. Wednesday reports of a shooting. They located the victim near the intersection of Vine Street and Dos Rios Street.

The victim was taken to a local hospital. Police say they are still determining the exact location and circumstances of the incident.

No additional details, including the victim’s condition or any potential suspects, have been released at this time.
