FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Comedian, actor, and global sensation Jo Koy is bringing his Just Being Koy tour to the Save Mart Center on May 2, as part of newly announced dates for the spring leg of the tour produced by Icon Concerts.

Presale tickets went on sale Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com and the arena box office.

Koy has become one of the top 10 grossing stand-up comedians each year, according to Pollstar and Billboard, and has sold out arenas worldwide.

In 2022, Koy launched his Funny Is Funny World Tour with a sold-out show at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena with more than 14,000 tickets sold, and ended the tour with a sold-out show at Tacoma Dome with more than 19,000 tickets sold.

In 2017, he set a record in Honolulu for the most tickets sold by a single artist, with 23,000 tickets and 11 sold-out shows at The Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall, leading Honolulu’s mayor’s office to proclaim Nov. 24 as “Jo Koy Day.”

Koy starred in the 2022 Universal Pictures comedy Easter Sunday, set around a struggling single father who returns to his hometown of Daly City, California, for Easter with his family. The film was produced by Steven Spielberg’s production company, Amblin Partners, and is described as the first motion picture film to feature an all-Filipino cast and be produced by a major studio.

In honor of the film, Daly City gave Koy the keys to the city and declared July 22 “Jo Koy Day.”

In 2023, Koy appeared in Disney’s Haunted Mansion and voiced characters in Netflix animated films Monkey King and Leo. In 2024, he voiced the character Monkey King in the Paramount+ film The Tiger’s Apprentice, and he has also appeared in Netflix’s Mr. Iglesias and Comedy Central’s Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens.
