San Diego County leaders say they will file a lawsuit today (Wednesday) against U-S Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

This follows a Board of Supervisors vote during a closed session Monday.

Participating will be Board Chair Terra Lawson-Remer, Chair Pro Tem Paloma Aguirre and County Council Damon Brown.

They don’t say exactly why they are suing today, but previous legal action was over the unauthorized construction of razor wire fencing on city owned land near the Mexican border.
