The 11th Annual Quinn Brady Memorial “Swing Against Cancer” Golf Tournament is set for May 11 at La Quinta Country Club, continuing a tradition that has already raised more than $1 million for cancer research and treatment.

The tournament benefits USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and the urology department at Keck Medicine of USC. For the second consecutive year, the Lucy Curci Cancer Center in the Coachella Valley will also receive support.

Organizers say the event features a step-aside scramble format, where all players tee off, the best drive is selected, and that player steps aside while teammates play into the green before everyone putts. The 18-hole tournament hosts approximately 80 players and includes brunch, cocktails, a post-play reception, dinner, and awards.

USC Norris and Keck Medicine are nationally ranked for cancer care, and tournament leaders say their mission is simple: raise as much funding as possible to support innovative, cutting-edge treatments and help make cancer a disease of the past.

Having surpassed $1 million raised over the past decade, organizers are now aiming to reach $2 million, with a goal of raising between $300,000 and $400,000 this year alone.
