After shutting down for good, NBC Bay Area learned Wednesday the San Francisco Centre shopping mall is getting a new owner.

Local developer Presidio Bay formed a local joint venture with the Prado Group and won the bid to buy the property on Market Street.

The mall was once the city’s largest mall until lenders forced it to shutter in November.

The developers still need to close on a deal, and the sale price has not been revealed.

The new owners plan to turn parts of the mall into office space while keeping some retail.
