Sacramento County reports measles cases in unvaccinated children

Sacramento County Public Health is reporting two cases of measles in children who were not vaccinated. One of the children became ill in January while traveling to South Carolina, where there is an ongoing outbreak. The child is no longer contagious and does not have symptoms. Officials do not know how the second child was exposed, but that child was treated at Kaiser Permanente Roseville and is now isolating at home.
