SACRAMENTO, Calif — Police arrested a second suspect in a South Sacramento fatal shooting that happened last October.
The Sacramento Police Department said 18-year-old John Cruz is facing homicide charges for allegedly killing 21-year-old Matthew Jhameil Anderson.
The investigation was launched after officers responded to the 2400 block of Meadowview Road on Oct. 16, where they found Anderson shot. Despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A little over a week after the shooting, police arrested 18-year-old Davian Sida, on homicide charges.
