PRESCOTT, AZ (AZFamily) — Police in Prescott say they’ve caught a man wanted in connection to a homicide that happened earlier this month in the Imperial Valley of southeastern California.
Prescott police said they arrested Nathan Matthew Garnica at a home along Valley Street on Wednesday with the help of the U.S. Marshals Service.
Details surrounding the homicide case haven’t been released but Arizona authorities said it happened on Feb. 8 in Brawley, California, which is about 70 miles northwest of Yuma.
Garnica was booked into the Yavapai County jail where he will eventually be extradited to Imperial County, California.
