A 24-year-old man reported missing in Carson has been located, authorities said Friday.
Ahijah Williams had last been seen at approximately 9:45 p.m. Thursday near Scobey Avenue and East Denwall Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated an Ebony Alert Saturday on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
No details were released about when and where Williams was located or the condition he was in when found.
Ebony Alerts are issued to help locate missing Black children, teenagers, and young adults ages 12 to 25 who have disappeared under unexplained or suspicious circumstances, or who are at risk, developmentally disabled, cognitively impaired or abducted.
