After nearly 40 years of practicing law and securing over $500 million for his clients, Warren Paboojian has announced a change to his law firm. The Fresno-based company has added a partner and is now called Paboojian & Bell, Inc. — a major milestone for one of the region’s most accomplished law firms.
The law firm formerly known as Paboojian, Inc. is now operating under the name Paboojian & Bell, Inc.
Veteran Attorney Jason Bell was promoted from within to named partner — a title that indicates seniority and partial ownership of the company. The firm’s name was changed to reflect the new partnership.
Though the name is new, Bell’s affiliation with the law firm spans several decades.
“Jason Bell became a named partner because he has been working with me for over 24 years and has provided excellent service for our clients,” said Warren Paboojian.
A Fresno native, Bell has spent his entire life — from education to career — in the Central Valley. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from California State University, Fresno in 1997 and a Juris Doctorate from San Joaquin College of Law in 2000. He was admitted to the California State Bar and the United States District Court, Eastern District in 2001. Bell is an active member of the Fresno County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the National Trial Lawyers Association, and the Central California Trial Lawyers Association. In 2008, his peers elected him to serve on the Board of Directors for the Fresno County Bar Association. His courtroom achievements include being recognized alongside Paboojian for obtaining one of the Top 50 Verdicts in California in 2018 in the case of Ortiz v. Chipotle.

Paboojian has practiced law for nearly 40 years. The prominent local attorney was born and raised in the Central Valley. He studied journalism at Fresno State University before earning his law degree from the San Joaquin College of Law.
Over the last two decades, Paboojian and his team of attorneys have secured over $500 million in verdicts and settlements for their clients — including $49.8 million in damages for a medical malpractice case in 2021 and a $19 million verdict for Stacy Johnson-Klein, Fresno State’s former women’s basketball coach, back in 2008.
“Our law firm has obtained the largest verdicts in the Central Valley,” said Paboojian.
Early in his career, Paboojian worked for an insurance defense firm. He later held a position as a Fresno County Deputy District Attorney before founding his namesake firm in the year 2000.
Warren isn’t the only Paboojian practicing law in the Valley. Each of his three children — two daughters and one son — are attorneys.
“My daughter, Tara Paboojian Sarabian, has been a practicing lawyer for 5 years with my firm,” said Warren. “My daughter, Bridget Paboojian Shegerian, also is a practicing lawyer … She has been a lawyer at our firm for 4 years.”
Both daughters are currently on maternity leave.
Though not local, Warren’s son has served California’s legal community for over a year.
“My son Tyler Paboojian is practicing personal injury in Southern California for a plaintiffs’ personal injury firm called Panish and Shea.”
The firm has changed its name, but its commitment to the community remains the same — providing the highest quality legal service to their clients.
“We look to continue great personal service to our community and clients in the future.”
