Traffic has reopened on northbound Highway 41 at the Shaw Avenue exit after a motorcycle crash Friday afternoon.
The crash was reported at about 4:33 p.m. when a motorcycle crashed. Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the crash.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and the motorcyclist suffered major injuries.
The Nos. 1 and 2 lanes were temporarily blocked while first responders assisted the injured rider and cleared the roadway, causing traffic to back up in the area.
All lanes have since reopened
