SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A suspect was taken into custody by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office after he was reported for sexual assault involving a minor, according to Butte County Sheriff.
Hasan Alshammari, 23 and of Sacramento, was accused of sexually assaulting two minors, one of which occurred in Butte County. Alshammari had his home searched by the Sac Sheriff’s SWAT team after both arrest and search warrants were executed. The investigation revealed evidence related to both of the sexual assaults.
Evidence showed Alshammari had not only used force during these assaults, but that he had also stolen belongings from the victims. Alshammari had been booked in the Butte County Jail on charges of rape and robbery.
