Men’s Championship Update
Round 1 of Qualifying Underway at TPC Harding Park
Pre-qualifying is complete, and Round 1 of the Men’s qualifying stage is now underway at TPC Harding Park.
There will be 168 players in the qualifying rounds with 48 players advancing to match play.
When all qualifying has been completed, the Men’s Championship Flight will consist of 32 contestants and the next 16 will form the Venturi Flight.
Pre-Qualifier Complete: 40 Advance to Weekend Qualifier
Forty players punched their tickets to the weekend qualifier after Friday’s pre-qualifier at Lincoln Park.
The cut line was decided by a 5-for-4 playoff that ended after one hole.
At the top, Inho Park is likely to be the medalist after a brilliant -5 (63), opening a five-shot lead
over Thomas Economou and Connor Russell (both E (68)).

Pre-Qualifier (Mar 6): A pressure-cooker day at Lincoln Park for players who enter after the weekend qualifier field is full.36-Hole Qualifying (Mar 7–8): 18 holes at TPC Harding Park + 18 holes at Lincoln Park — one combined score to reach match play.Match Play Begins (Mar 14): The tournament shifts from “make birdies” to “win holes,” and every mistake gets a spotlight.Final Weekend (Mar 21–22): Quarterfinals/semifinals build to a 36-hole Championship Final on Sunday.
