The Fullerton School District Board is set to address several vital agenda items in its upcoming meeting, aimed at enhancing student services, improving facilities, and expanding educational opportunities.

1. Completion of Playground Installations 
The Board will review and potentially approve the Notice of Completion for Miracle Recreation Equipment Company’s recent playground installations at Acacia Fitness and Kinder Playgrounds. This upgrade seeks to enrich recreational spaces for children in the community.

2. Security Enhancements at Nicolas ARC 
Another important agenda item includes the approval of the Notice of Completion for security improvements at the Nicolas ARC, where Blue Violet Networks has installed six new security cameras. This initiative is designed to strengthen the facility’s safety protocols.

3. Nutrition Services Purchase Orders 
The Board is also looking to ratify Nutrition Services purchase orders for the upcoming school year, covering vendor numbers 1627 through 1822. This move aims to meet students’ nutritional requirements effectively.

4. Nutrition Services Warrants
In conjunction with the purchase orders, the Board will assess warrants numbered 22190 through 22227 for Nutrition Services, crucial for overseeing the district’s food service finances.

5. Facility Use Agreement with Delta Prep Foundation 
A renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a Facility Use Service Agreement with Delta Prep Foundation is on the agenda for approval, extending collaboration between the two organizations from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

6. 6th-Grade Science Camp Experience 
The Board plans to approve a renewed agreement for an overnight 6th-grade Science Camp, in partnership with CIMI Fox Landing Guided Discoveries, Inc. The camp runs from March 10, 2026, to June 30, 2027, offering students unique educational adventures in a natural environment.

7. AVID Program Support 
A renewed Products and Service Order Agreement with Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) will be considered to foster the program’s implementation and evaluation at Ladera Vista Junior High School of the Arts and Nicolas Junior High School for the 2026-2027 school year.

8. Educational Conference in Nevada 
The Board will review a proposal for three Educational Services staff members to attend the Solution Tree PLC at Work Institute in Clark County, Nevada, from June 3 to 5, 2026. The conference aims to enhance educators’ professional development.

9. Summer Camp for Speech & Debate
A new agreement is under discussion for a Speech & Debate Summer Camp Program targeting 4th to 7th-grade students, scheduled from June 1 to June 12, 2026. This initiative aims to improve students’ public speaking and debate skills.

10. Participation in National Educational Expo 
Finally, the Board will consider approving the attendance of five staff members from Innovation and Instructional Support at the PowerSchool Users Group (PSUG) National Information Exchange & Vendor Expo in Clark County, Nevada, from July 12 to 15, 2026, offering significant networking and resource opportunities for educational professionals.

In addition to the key items, the Board will discuss the following action items:

A. Appointment of a Replacement Member to the Measure N Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee.
B. Adoption of Resolution #25-26-11, authorizing district personnel to sign various documents for the Orange County Superintendent of Schools.
C. Approval of candidates for the 2026 California School Boards Association (CSBA) Delegate Assembly Election.
D. Adoption of Resolution #25/26-10, initiating layoffs of classified positions effective at the end of the 2025/2026 school year.
E. Approval of a new Memorandum of Understanding with the Fullerton Elementary Teachers Association (FETA) regarding the ENCORE Summer Program 2026.
F. Revisions to Board Policy 0450 – Community Safety Plan.
G. Revisions to Board Policy 1340 – Access to District Records.
H. Revisions to Board Policy 5125 – Student Records.
I. Approval of New Board Policy 5141.3 – Behavioral Health Support.
J. Approval of New Board Policy 5141.
