BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — It will be a mild start to the weekend, and a windy one for parts of our area as well.
An upper-level low will shift into northern Baja and the associated “pressure gradient” will continue to push wind trajectories from the north-northeast toward the south-southwest. This flow will favor winds across the desert and mountain areas of Kern County, where a Wind Advisory is in effect.
