San Jose police are investigating the death of a person who appeared to be experiencing a drug overdose before he died, authorities said Wednesday.

Officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of South Buena Vista Avenue just after 8 a.m. Wednesday morning, after receiving two reports – one saying there was a family disturbance and another that an adult male was experiencing a drug overdose.

When officers arrived, they found an adult male who was naked and acting erratically, they said. After he was detained, he began experiencing a “medical emergency.”
