US President Donald Trump said he will not deploy federal agents to San Francisco after a call with Mayor Daniel Lurie, a retreat from his push to send troops to Democrat-led cities. Protesters opposed to the deployment demonstrated outside a Bay Area Coast Guard base that was to be a staging area.
