One person died and two others were hurt Sunday after a car crashed into a light pole in Porter Ranch, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The crash was reported at 10:11 a.m. near the intersection of Tunney and Tampa Avenues. There, for reasons still under investigation, the driver of a car crashed into a light pole.
LAFD said the fatal victim died at the scene and the two surviving victims were taken to an area hospital in serious condition. Details on the deceased, such as their approximate age and gender, were not released.
The investigation is ongoing.
