SAN JOSE, CA — A routine traffic stop developed into a “major’ narcotics arrest with the search of a suspect’s home in Milpitas, San Jose police said Saturday.
The incident began Friday morning when a vehicle was pulled over for a traffic infraction and a passenger was found with methamphetamine, cocaine, and Xanax packaged for sale, police said.
The discovery triggered a search of the suspect’s residence in Milpitas, where officers discovered more methamphetamine along with assault rifle components, high-capacity magazines and ammunition, police said.
