BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a man allegedly connected to a deadly shooting outside a bar in Oildale early Saturday morning.

KCSO said 27-year-old Steven Quick is wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that left one person dead next to the Long-branch Saloon in Oildale just after midnight on March 7, 2026.
Quick is described as a man, 6’1” tall, 165 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
