FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — In Fresno, the Iranian American community of the Central Valley held a candlelight vigil honoring the fallen brave soldiers of the United States.
The event took place just outside of the Clovis Veterans Memorial at five o’clock where dozens of community members gathered around.
The group stated paying their respects for the soldiers fighting in the Middle East.
Six candles were held behind the photos of the fallen U.S. soldiers as they each said a statement in regard to each soldier.
The vigil ended with a moment of silence as a time of reflection and advocation for peace as the war between Iran and the U.S. continues.
