No. 22 Texas A&M earned its third series sweep of the season with a run-rule victory over Oakland, 12-1, Saturday afternoon from Olsen Field at Blue Bell.
The Aggies (14-1) totaled 14 hits and drew four walks in the win. Seven Aggies recorded a hit, including three-hit performances from Gavin Grahovac, Nico Partida and Caden Sorrell. Blake Binderup and Sorrell each logged three RBI and clubbed a home run. Partida led the lineup with three runs scored and drove a solo homer to left-center field in the second inning.
Aiden Sims (3-0) was effective as the starter, tossing 5.0 scoreless innings and striking out four batters. Josh Stewart worked 2.0 innings out of relief, allowing one run on four hits while striking out four Golden Grizzlies (1-14).
