But before we jump into Northern California’s top stories, residents should expect warm temperatures to continue into Monday, though forecasters expect that highs won’t surpass those seen on Sunday.
On Tuesday, temperatures will cool slightly before another round of warm temperatures hit the region.
“In general from Wednesday-Friday, models have spread of temperature from the mid 70s to the upper 80s, depending on location. Temps should moderate next weekend as the ridge retreats slightly before building back stronger the week of the 15th,” according to the National Weather Service.

In other news, authorities are searching for several people who went missing over the weekend in Northern California.
Three teens vanished from the East Bay on Saturday after they had made plans to go somewhere together but never returned.
And a 46-year-old man disappeared while he was on a fishing trip in Mountain House. After he didn’t return home to his wife when expected, the man’s friend unsuccessfully went to look for him.
