The NFL offseason is in full swing, and on Monday, teams can officially negotiate with pending free agents from other teams. However, those deals can’t become official until the start of the new league year on Wednesday.
For the San Francisco 49ers, they’ve been busy in the days leading up, inking long snapper Jon Weeks and Eddy Pineiro to deals to get the team to stay around.

San Francisco has several players available to sign with another team, and wide receiver Kendrick Bourne became the first to do so, agreeing to a two-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals.

According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the 49ers were in on defensive end John Franklin-Myers, who landed a three-year, $63M deal with the Tennessee Titans.
