LOS ANGELES, CA — Two Los Angeles County hospitals are among the 50 best in the world, according to a new ranking published recently by Newsweek.

The publication’s World’s Best Hospitals for 2025 list was released in late February and recognizes hospitals that display excellence in patient care, safety and clinical quality.

Six Los Angeles County hospitals were ranked among the top 100 in the U.S., while four ranked in the top 250 in the entire world.

Of those, two facilities made the global top 50 list:

The World’s Best Hospitals awards are presented by Newsweek in partnership with statistics provider Statista. The 2026 list highlights leading hospitals across 32 countries, selected based on factors such as standard of living, population size, number of hospitals and data availability.
