San Jose ‘Music Mania’ festival scaled back – NBC Bay Area

A San Jose music festival scheduled for the end of the month will now be a one-day event, according to the mayor’s office.

Music Mania was originally scheduled to run from March 26 through March 28 in conjunction with the city hosting NCAA basketball games.

The mayor’s office said the event is now being reimagined as a free one-day festival on March 27.

There was no details on where the event will be held, but organizers said NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal will hit the stage as a DJ.
