A bicyclist was injured in a crash with a vehicle near 12th and C streets in Sacramento.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A bicyclist was injured in a crash near the Mansion Flats neighborhood in Sacramento. 

Before 3 p.m., officers responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a bicyclist in the area of 12th and C streets, according to the Sacramento Police Department. 

The bicyclist was taken to the hospital and the driver of the vehicle stayed on scene. It’s not clear what condition the bicyclist is in.

The crash prompted road closures in the area of 12th and C streets.

Officers remain in the area to investigate the crash.
